I have spent nearly four decades teaching media courses. This includes over two decades as a professor at Temple University, Florida State University, CSU East Bay and Seattle University.  I retired as an tenured Associate  Professor several years ago, and currently teach part time as well as continue making films.

Over the past few years,  I have been lucky enough to have had two Fulbright Specialist positions at the University of Vienna and Klagenfurt University as well as a Botstiber Fellowship at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.

I still teach part time. Currently I am an instructor in documentary production at the University of Washington.
